So you’ve just hit Level 10 and walked out of Bunker 57? Congrats! Now comes the grind—and I’ll show you one of the most efficient ways to level up to Level 20. This is the path I took, and I think it’s one of the best strategies available right now.
🛡️ Gear Up First
Before you go on an XP hunt, you’ll need better equipment. Your default gear won’t cut it anymore.
- Sword: You need the Bamboo Sword. It’s by far the best sword for this level range and will remain your best option until Level 20.
- Armor: Go for the Guardian Armor Set.
You can either farm these from mobs or buy them super cheap (just a few cents) on the PWER marketplace.
🗺️ Where to Farm?
There are two key locations:
- Rumble
- Lonely Eye
Depending on what gear you leave Bunker 57 with, start with Rumble or head directly to Lonely Eye.
Once you’re at Lonely Eye, stay there until Level 20. Why?
🎯 Lonely Eye gives the best EXP/HP ratio for this level range.
You’ll also be able to farm rare Upgrade Gems here, which are essential for enhancing your gear.
đź’€ The Grind
- To go from Level 10 to Level 20, you need approximately 2.4 million EXP.
- Lonely Eye mobs give ~60 EXP per kill.
- That means you need to kill ~40,000 mobs.
Here’s how it played out for me:
- I killed around 2.5k mobs/hour
- That’s about a 16-hour grind
- BUT with a 4x EXP Boost, it drops to just 4 hours
đź”® Drops & Stats
While grinding, I looted:
- Endless weapons and armor pieces (mostly useless once you have your Bamboo Sword + Guardian Set)
- ~10 of each Upgrade Gem (10, 30, and 50)
That was over ~10,000 mob kills, giving each gem type a drop rate of ~0.1%
đź’Ž What to Do with the Gems?
You have options:
- Upgrade your Bamboo Sword with blue or yellow gems
- Save them for later content
- Sell them on the PWER marketplace for some balance to buy the next tier of weapons and armor
If you’re confident with your current setup and don’t want to “waste” the gems early, that’s totally valid.
🧠Final Tips
- Lonely Eye @ Higher Valley is my favorite farming spot – tons of mob spawns in a tight space – just go threw the portal in east sandria city – use 3 times the east portal and than the northern not the east one
- The earlier you get your gear in place, the more efficient your leveling will be
